I am in the process of changing a 12 string guitar that had a real goofed up tuning on it - Does anyone have a chart that gives you and idea on which bell crank and changer holes to use when setting up a 12 string for a Universal tuning??

Some pretty good info here...Bill
"edited"..Look under adjustments..action/feel, explains a lot. Where you have two, or more strings on the same pedal, it explains how to have all of them finish the pull together, firm, soft, etc.

BTW...have fun !!!!!

hey rpeterson,
the link bill provided is the ticket. i ran into the very same situation last year. had never tried to do anywork "under the hood" of my steels. read up on all of it. even after reading the info on the pages he linked to i still couldn't grasp what i was reading until i got under there and got my hands dirty. once you start to set up your first pedal or knee, you will slowly become aware of what is going on. it's not rocket science. trial and error is what really teaches you.
