Bob --are you still using a Sierra steel 12 string?
Does it have an extended E-9th tuning on it? If so could you post the Copedant you have on it. I have a Session U-12 with three pedals and 5 knees. and dont know what the two low strings should be. The lowest string on it right now is a 68 k. Can ya help me?

Hi Norm.

I don't have that Sierra any more, but I do have my E9th 5+5 copedent on the front neck of my D-12 Williams. <center>

I don't recommend my exact copedent to anyone, because of my own idiosyncrasies (no half-stop, no C pedal, no splits, etc.).

Basically, the idea is to take your standard E9th and add low G# and E strings to get into the lower range of the standard guitar. The B pedal should pull all three G#'s to A. Beyond that, I also got good results by lowering the low E to C# on the F lever (like the C6th boo-wah), and by lowering low E to D on the C pedal.

Thanks Bob I appreciate the time to explain your sierra setup. I could do without the c pedal

Ill work from here

I have two 10 string Desert Roses but I need to get the 97 Sierra out of the closet.

Thanks
Norm

Since then, I've changed pedal 1 to lower the 9th string to C# instead of raising the 1st string. Works real good with the F lever. I've never really needed the 1st string raise, as it's easy to get with a bar slant.
