How about the sidemen? And, Janee'? This is her home area, as I recall.

Jeneé is in "Nashburg" slaving over the books at Belmont University these days. Maybe she'll be home during that time--we'll see.

The side men will include: Roy Rossetta on Piano, Ronnie Ray on guitar, David Bass on Drums, Ronnie Vanderslice/Jack Heern and Gabe on Bass, along with several other great sidemen. Sorry, but I don't think Jenee` can make it this year. College is pretty demanding. Looking forward to seeing all of you. Thanks for the replies. Rev

Bringing to the top per Tim Harr's inquiry.
Tim, we have a show in Hot Springs, Ar this weekend. My time slot is Sunday afternoon.
I think this is the only show in Arkansas this weekend.

I hope to see everyone in Hot Springs this weekend. I will be there all three days. Be sure to stop by and say hello. I have been doing this great show since 1984 and always enjoy coming back to Hot Springs as Ronnie is one of my favorite people in the steel guitar community. Anyhow, he does have a great lineup for this weekend, so I'm sure you won't want to miss it.

P.S. I also have to mention that my very favorite bar-b-q restaurant is about a block down the street, so if you miss me at Ronnie's show, I will probably be at McClard's Restaurant as I have a certain quota of bar-b-q to eat this weekend!

Are reseved tickets for admission required or are tickets available at the door? What are the starting times for the shows on Saturday and Sunday?

Well, the show was great this year and we had a lot of fun. Sorry, I got there too late to hear Buck's new D9/10!!! It sure was nice to see everyone again and thanks goes to Ronnie for putting this show on. We went to dinner after the show Sunday evening and I made mention that here we are dining with THREE Hall Of Famers, those being Hal Rugg, Herby Wallace and The Texas Hall Of Famer, Junior Knight! This could only happen in the Steel Guitar Community. Where else could fans and "ordinary folks" (like me) literally rub elbows with, well, you know what I mean, certainly not in any sports or other things that we are interested in. It was a great show, great fellowship and those who came to listen were great to play for. It was a fun thing.

Well I just got back from Hot Springs and I always enjoy doing Ronnie's great show. I have been playing it since 1984. There is only one problem in that I had mentioned McClard's Bar-B-Que which is my very favorite and that is saying a lot. Well the problem is that they are closed on Sunday and Monday, and I failed to receive my quota of bar-b-que for the trip. I was driving to Ft. Smith, AR on Monday morning where I did a recording session with Tim Cushenberry who used to own Cush Case Co. Tim is now singing Gospel Music and this is the second album I have done with him. Anyhow back to the bar-b-que, I had a sinking spell driving to Ft. Smith from not meeting my quota, but I found a Luby's Cafeteria in Ft. Smith that pulled me through.

Now back to the great show, Jerry Roller, you also did an excellent job as all the other great players on the show. I also talked Junior Knight into playing bass with me which is also a treat.

I'll close for now, but speaking for all the great players on the show, those of you that missed it really missed a great show.

Don't know if it's as good as it used to be (what is), but about 40 yrs ago my entire family would drive over 30 miles to eat barbeque at Stubby's in Hot Springs. Part of the thrill of the trip was to drive down Central Ave and look thru the front windows of what used to be the Southern Club at the crap tables and slot machines. Goooollllllllly!! What a town!!

This was my first time to attend Ronnie's show. It will definitely not be my last. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Herby, you did a great job as usual. Jerry, I thought that your set on Sunday afternoon was the best that I have heard you play. In fact, all of the players did a great job.

I also enjoyed the worship service on Sunday. There was lots of good gospel music. I also really enjoyed Rev. Wayne Smith's message. It was a very timely message. I hope people took it to heart.
