I've been lurking for quite a while, and finally decided that I'm too old to lurk any longer. So I got myself a cheapie lap steel, Dug out some picks and a bar that my late Uncle Lloyd gave me, and decided to learn how to play this thing.
I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions, but from what I've seen this is the place for answers.   |

Thanks Brad, you have a nice web site btw. I am in Clovis Ca, Fresno area. Looking forward to meeting some steelers around here. I play bass usually in a country christian band, and Paul Dobbs is our steel player, so he is the inspiration for me getting into steel. Thanks for the welcome, and I'll start prioritizing my questions as they arise...lol

| My uncle Lloyd is Lloyd Tripp...mostly a non-peddler, back the Maddox Bros and Rose, Back when Roy Nichols, Sonny Turner, and some of those guys were still looking for work. LOL He converted to pedal a few years before his passing. |
