Sometimes when I load a blank disk in my drive to do some recording, it reboots the computer and sometimes it keeps on rebooting until I remove the disk from the drive.....it's getting to happen more and more often. The dvd plays and records great, when it's not rebooting. Any ideas on this. I really don't mind buying a new dvd drive, if that will solve the problem. I'm just wondering if it could be a driver

Thanks

Ken

I would definitely replace the drive. If the replacement does the same thing, return it, as that means something is wrong with either the OS, or the motherboard.

Thanks Wiz, I replaced it with An exterior drive. That works so far, thanks again
