Something I came across for your listening enjoyment. If you'll notice, the first one, is played much differently than the one he played on the Knoxville 2000 show.
Listen to this version, possibly sometime in 2007
It was at the Station Inn, with the Time Jumpers. Does anyone know specifically when this was done?
Look At Us Knoxville 2000
This version, (2000 Knoxville) I believe to be the All Time, best version, I've ever heard.
Then too, John was simply great in everything he played.
Hope you each enjoy them as much as I have.
RIP John,
Don

That 2007 version is so beautiful! What a master he was. The Dawn Sears tribute of "Sweet Memories" choked me to the point I could not watch it all the way through for some time, I don`t normally succumb to that level of sadness but it was not a matter of choice.
R.I.P John and thanks for the music.
