Memorial Service In Washington

I have just watched the most touching memorial service ever.

I would like for those of you who may not have able to watch the service,,,,check with your local stations for a re-broadcast.

The catherdral had most all of its dignataries present,,,as well as unknowns to many of us.

The sermon by Rev Billy Graham was really touching,and after he finished his beautiful
sermon, I could not help my self by standing and applauding, much to my wife's suprise,,,the congregation was silent for a good thirty seconds,,,when all at once,,,,everyone did what I did,,,,,,The all stood up and applauded Rev Billy Graham.

Our president was the "epitomte" of class as
he address'd all those in the cathedral as well
as the nation....It made me all the more proud "Iam an American".

There was a great girl singer accompanied by a classical guitarist who performed,,
America The Beautiful...I cant think of anything else I have ever witnessed that touched as much as this service did.

I do wished that Ron Elliot was there playing
his magnifcant rendition of "The Lords Prayer" that was the only thing missing.

Regardless of your color,,,,religious beleif,
nationality etc etc,,,,,try to watch this.

It will put this barbaric tragedy into a different perspective. I realize there are many at this time who "hate",,,but the love of God will help remove that hate and turn it
to love and understanding. We have had as much hate demonstrated the last week and rightfully so,,but now is the time to pray &
love,,,,,,The president will be guided by God Almighty as how to react to that horrible
loss to America. He will be guided by God and deal with those guilty of this terrible
crime.This act is beyond hate,,,it was "hate" that caused this,,,we have no choice other than pray and love,,,the rest will be decided by God, He is the "Judge".

Iam sure he will do the right thing in the eyes of God.

TRY TO WATCH THIS IF YOU CAN,,,I saw it on the WNBC station......do it. PS Iam a flag waver,,,as Iam proud of the flag Iam waving.

Jody: I did see that service live, and have been in the Washington Cathedral several times when I lived in the Maryland suburbs. It was a very moving service and the female singer has an absolutely angelic voice.
