Hallo Dennis,
you remember our correspondence month ago? I wrote about my time playing music in the US Army clubs here in Berlin and that I miss this time and the Americans. There are many reasons for this feeling: You gave us food after the war, secured our liberty and we learned much from you about democracy, being friendly with each other and the "America way of life". I´m sure today 99% of us "Berliner" are standing behind you and your country.

Each morning I hope it may be a bad dream what happened in New York.

If I can do anything for your country, I will do it !
