Sam, we have a regular Friday night job playing at a restaurant. We have an accoustical guitar, bass and steel and it sure is nice to be able to play at low volume and hear every note. Anyway, we stopped at 7:00 and every table had a candle on it. The candles were lit and the lights were turned off. I played a medley of patriotic songs on the steel while Carlene, my wife held a candle over the strings of the steel guitar and then we had one minute of silence. We did our last song and I told the guys I want to do the Star Spangled Banner which we did. It appears you and I were thinking the same thoughts.
