Tim Wallis asked me to post this...

From Tim Wallis, General Manager of WKRP.FM / SteelRadio.com:

SteelRadio.com had well over 147,000 hits last weekend when we broadcast the 30th Annual "Scotty's International Steel Guitar Convention" in St. Louis. When we came back to our Studio in Warrensburg, Illinois we had our main computer go nuts and crash. As you may have guessed, I pretty much moved in to the Studio to put things back together. My wife (Carla) is ready to kill me, but after several Sleepless nights and two cartons of smokes, I got us back up. It's too bad someone doesn't invent a VIAGRA for computers.

No matter what today's Radio tries to shove in our ears, last week proved there's a lot of people who love REAL music. Rich Mounce and I are committed to making SteelRadio.com bigger and better. With your help we'll all get there. I ask for the next couple of days to be patient with us because we're adding even more bandwidth. There may be brief periods of not being able to connect or some buffering. If this happens, you can be rest assured we're back here at the Studio working to make things better.

We have some exciting adventures in store for you coming up, so be sure to keep listening and email us with any comments, questions or suggestions.

Thanks again for making SteelRadio.com a success!

Al...We are planning on it. We will be adding more tunes this coming week. Hopes are before long to have enough material to listen 24 hours a day for 3 days and never hear the same song twice. Just going to take a little while to get it done. Then we will add the liners to each song...Thanks to all of you for your support and always love to hear your suggestions and comments...We want to do it the way the listeners want it!

Bob...The technolgy already exists. May be closer than you think. That would be a great thing!
