An old BMI... Not the original fretboard, and the replacement is too short of a scale. That is, the upper fret lines are "flat".

Where might I find a pattern or actual fretboard replacement that'll work better?

Bridge to rollers is exactly 24 inches.

TIA, -Dave

Dave,
If it's a BMI, check with Don or Dan at BMI. They can fix you up with the correct one.

Cheers!

Thanks Benton!

Honestly, I thought BMI was long out of business! But I see now that a couple of guys got it going again. Huray!! This is probably old news to most, but a new discovery of mine.

I found their web site at http://www.beckmusicalinstruments.com (duh... I am the stupid! Oh Well )

BMI has NEVER been out of business!!! They may have slowed down a time or two, but they've been continuously producing guitars for more than three decades. If BMI ever quits making guitars, this ole boy is gonna be cryin' big alligator tears!!!
BTW who makes some of the (I believe) Mylar fretboards as used on many guitars today? Mullen, for one, has a beautiful, seemingly bullet-proof fretboard on their guitars. Tom Bradshaw has a beauty as a replacement for MSA's. Who makes these?
