Here's a great big "Thank You". to all involved with the TSGA Jamboree. Albert Talley, of course ; Jody Sanders and Louie Halford; Roy Rosetta, Paul Polish, Mac McRae, Mark Abbott and the rest of the staff band for their tireless efforts and warm acceptance of my sitting in on bass. Thanks to Herby Wallace (whose comeback is an inspiration), David Wright ("that Wright"), and Chuck Lettes for inviting me to play for them. I also had a great time as well in the nonpedal room on Friday and am happy to have been invited to play. It was a real treat to play with Reece Anderson and Herb Remington along with Walter Lyons on guitar; we all had a lesson in ensemble playing and melody harmonising from these guys. Big praise for Rick Alexander for putting it together, and big praise for my rhythm section colleagues Gerald Ross and Ivan Reddington. A special bit of praise goes to the Sheraton staff for their professionalism in dealing with the power outage. Also, thanks to Bob Hoffnar, who generously shared his table with me and Texas Dance Hall Classics. This is a great steel guitar show, and one that should not be missed.

Hi Steve
It was great meeting you. I did see you bassing with the Ray Montee just before the power outage. I hope you will return next year, I certainly am. I would like to say thanks too to everyone involved in the organising of this great steel guitar event. It is something that you just have to keep coming to every year, and if you have never been to a TSGA Jamboree yet, DO IT next year.

David,
Thanks so much for allowing me to play along to a few tracks with you in the Rains room. It was GREAT! You are a master of the E9th! I really enjoyed meeting Gary Carpenter also. We had a SUPER time in Dallas!

Steve
It was nice seeing you again.
Maybe I'll catch up with you at the PSGA show in November.
You did a fine job on bass and I heard you several times as I browsed all the rooms.
There was so much going on and I tried to catch a little bit of everything. It being my 1st time in Dallas.
It was nice to say hi to David Hartley also.
A fine chap he is and can he play.

Thanks
Thanks David for all you do for us players, hope you get the Dro-Bro sound you are looking for out of the Goodrich product.
Until I can find you the bar that comes with that a broom handle works also. just cut it to size and off you go.
It was good to meet Fran, and Keith's family, they seemed to have enjoyed their trip to Dallas.
See you at St Louis.

David, Thanks again for coming out to Pearl's Saturday night and sitting in with us. It was great fun for us! Next year we need to see if we can get you out on the dance floor! If anyone's interested, the band members were: Mike Siler (lead singer), Reggie Reuffer and Dale Morris, Jr. (twin fiddles), Chad Reuffer (bass) and Derek Speigner (drums).
