Tape head demagnetizer suggestions?

I'm back into a phase of recording most everything I practice to try to isolate stuff, just using a cheap cassette 4-track. I need a demagnetizer, and the thread about hyped guitar cords got me thinking - do I really need a $50 Teac "E-3" Whoa!

or will the $12 guys do the trick...

A $12 one is about 4 bucks overkill for your needs. Go to MCM Electronics and buy theirs.

Make certain that you understand the demag process.....
