Does anyone know the detail about the Opry being dropped by TNN after 8/11 and moving to CMT on 8/18?

Ric, the Opry will broadcast on CMT on Saturday nights at eight and eleven and then rebroadcast on Sundays at eleven a.m. Makes a wonderful addition to the country music videos on cmt. Brett Day, Emmons S-10

If my fellow forumites remember, last year I made posts concerning the future of the Opry, and they are now starting to happen. The next move. The Opry BACK to the Ryman, FOR GOOD !!!!! Why doesn't someone close to Garth, try to get him to BUY. the Opry and the Ryman, it would be a good investment, and a tax write off, if push comes to shove. Much better than paying the government, all that tax money, cause it's going, in a dead heat, to countries that HATE, the United States, anyway.

Garth could go from Anti-Christ to Saviour in one fell swoop.
