I have a chance to buy this guitar but have no idea what it is. It doesn't have a name but says "Steel Guitar Model H99" and is reputed to be from Japan made in the 60's.

Your collective expertise is needed and appreciated.

Thanks,

Judgung from the switch mechanism, I'd say it's a Guyatone.

I believe George Keoki Lake is right. Between the overall design, including the switches & pickups, and the hard case...I would guess Guyatone.

Of course, there are several companies that made similar models. I assume they were really made by the same factory...just branded differently.

I assume that the sticker is a little gold sticker with black writing on it???
