Great event and nice turnout -something close to 100 .

I'd like to recognize some of the figures in the background that make these events so successful.

First-Jeremiah & Venda Hanley for all they do including lugging the sound system there, we appreciate it !

Randy Stewart for pulling his large cooker over from Kansas and putting his master's touch on grilling those great burgers--thanks buddy, we all enjoyed them very much !

The grand ladies of the Association who work so tirelessly to provide the great eats and drinks and run things so smoothly -thank you ladies you are greatly appreciated by all--

The masterful back up band--Dino Strunk on lead guitar, Adam Guidry on drums, Tommy Rails on Keyboard and Lou Colbe on bass. These guys are great and follow anything thrown at them such as Jerry Roller's "Take The "A" Train" and Scotty Henderson's "What A Wonderful World" (Thanks guys for playing them for me)

How many can indentify the steeler from the below photo ? (I would imagine this may fool some)

Baxter Springs, Kansas Steel Guitar Association president Lee Ogle and our own Mike McGee discussing how they can use the stimulous package this year.

Very Happy Bill, I think I know who's legs and feet is in the picture. Is it the guy who was president of the United Nations some time back? His name was Butrus Butrus Golly. People finally figured out that he was using a fake name. His real name was Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater. Very Happy

I had a good time at the Classic. Would have preferred a different winner, but that's the way it goes. Now I am getting ready for Dallas!!!!!!!!!
