Does anyone have a schematic for a photocell volume pedal, I thought I might have a go at building one but I can't find anything on the internet and current funds don't allow me to buy one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dave.
Over the years I have built three pedals using photocells with reasonable success, having said that they are tricky to set up and require a lot of patience unless you hit it lucky first time, I used two ORP12 photocells in a voltage divider arrangement, but you must place a buffer amp between the input and the divider to save the treble tone from being sucked. I have a circuit I drew up (if i can find it) you are welcome to it.
