Hi group:

The Britt Festival in Jacksonville, Oregon (outside Medford) will be featuring two steel guitarists this evening (7/20/01):

1. Buddy Emmons with the Everly Brothers; and

2. Lee Jeffriess with Big Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys.

It should be a fine evening of music.

How did you make out with the PS 210?

Hi HowardR:

The Fender PS 210 is still up at Sierra Steel Guitars in Portland, Oregon. It's been there since last November and I'm not sure what its status is.

My e-mail at aldg@mail.rvi.net should be working.

Also, I have at least two of your letters that I haven't answered yet. I hope to get to them one of these days.

Hi group:

As a followup to my announcement about the Everly Brothers concert, let me share some additional information:

1. Albert Lee, the regular lead guitarist for the Everlys' was replaced by Jamie Hartford, son of the recently departed Johnny Hartford; and

2. Big Sandy told me that Lee Jeffriess has left his band several months ago to spend more time with his family. His replacement at the concert was the fine steel player, Jimmy Roy from Vancover, Canada.

I will be posting some of my digital photos from the concert on Saturday morning.
