My first thought when I saw this guy for the first time was that his guitar is so close to being a pedal steel, why doesn't he just play a pedal steel? But I like things that are different for a change. I like what he's doin. It just bothers me a little that he can play pedal steel on a guitar better than I can on a pedal steel.

Thanks!
Thanks for the props!
I heard Buddy play the Nameless Shuffle at ISGC and I thought wow what a great song! By the time I got back home I couldn't remember exactly how it went. After I recorded it, I then heard it the RIGHT way.... I guess I should have done a little more homework.
I had to create a new A Bender to go along with my B&G Benders.. Plus use 2 of my String Drops just to get the licks. It's a fun song to play and it inspired me to invent an A Bender.
I don't know how you Steelers wrap your head around all those strings, pedals, levers etc. that you use and make sound soooo good. It's hard enough for me to just to use a few benders. But, mamma always said you steelers weren't wired right lol.
I'm glad you enjoyed it and I hope Buddy doesn't laugh his head off if or when he ever hears it.

Wow loved that ,I watched a load of other videos you have on there .
You possible have a higher dexterity level than pedal steelers everything is concentrated on two hands, all ten digits.
Also as someone pointed out on youtube the exotic design of the guitar blends the mechanical parts in beautifully.
