Come on all you heads over there in Nashville that I know,Rick Taylor.Do something about it for(Leo J.Eiffert,Jr.) me. As Larry Scott would say who was on KLAC & KZLA Radio Station here in Southern California before going to KWKH in Shreveport,Louisiana. {You can't keep a good thing down or out of sight.Larry Scott} Just Like the Fender Guitar Museum in Corona,California for us Country Musicians and all. Let's see! Bobby's words to me (Leo J.Eiffert,Jr.) it will never happen! I believe it will. If I can get my good friend " Dave Gant's " neighbor " Storme Warren " and his good friend " Hazel Smith " to get behind me on this TOPIC for " Bobby Lee " and with my real good Academy of Country Music friend " Kirt Webster " who is head of Publicity for " Country Weekly ", who is the power player in Nashville,Tenn. It will be done! For those of you who are in favor of this and would like to support this with me you can help by calling Kirt's office and telling them I gave you this number to call. 1-615-777-6995. This is the Honor that " Bobby Lee " earn for keeping the Steel Guitar Alive, and we can add Scotty in the mix they deserve. Sincerely in Music,Leo J.Eiffert,Jr.

I just came from the grocery store. "Country Weekly" was in the rack with the Enquirer, Globe, and the other junk. I think they had some articles on the "star's" favorite recipes. b0b, you got any good recipes you want to share with the public?

Why not? I mean, after all the accolades we've given modern Nashville country music here, and after all the nice things we've said about the remarkable new talent on the Opry, and considering the generous showcases given all steel players in the various top acts.....

Uhhh...you may have a point after all, Bobby. Alien

Hello Pete Finney,I know the Banner is gone. But,most of them people are still around and I see some of them on this Forum, like you. Same as Music City News is gone and that's who Country Weekly is. When I think about all the Musicians I know on this forum who have made and still makes a great living from all of us California People. When somebody like Bobby Lee created this avenue to support what you and I and most love,I think he should be on the front Cover Of Country Weekly Magazine. I know I have a crazy way about getting things done, but,I get it sooner or later. So,all I ask is do you in Nashville and from where ever you are from support me on this special reference issue I've made. Just Like the Academy Of Country Music Museum for us here in California. I won't happen, but,I do have a place to put us now with out The Academy Of Country Music Heads. To keep the Steel Guitar in front of the people called the publice, you have to have the right Musaician who believe in it. So,with my identifcation to communicate to my commitment for all us Musicians here in southern California to my brotherhood,The brightest new star of 2009 will be The STEEL GUITAR FORUM. Sincerely in Music,Leo J.Eiffert,Jr.

That's hard to believe when you just mentioned it as a place to pitch this "story"...

What exactly does that mean... "them people"? We're referring to a newspaper, that neither I nor anybody else on the forum as far as I know had anything to do with. Do you even have any idea what you're talking about?

See Peter, what I mean is sample.I pretty much know who runs this so call Country Music Community personnally and it's not all from Nashville. But,it's seems to me that most musicians are afraid to stand up to this system of communication who are the pros on this forum that I know who know me. I'm not fighting anybody but far filling what should be done right for the fathers & Mothers who build what I know this new breed don't care aboutthe History of but a hand full of Artist. With out the Musicans these artist would be nothing. So,in trying to help build the Honor for " Bobby Lee " who has givin more to Country Music then the ones who are running it.Maybe, just maybe the past could help in identifing why so many are so neglected. so for me as the go - between who is in the circle and can tell these people. As the good -for- nothing I do stand for something,Musicians. so,for the doubtful of how I get thing done it my character and choice technique to open up one's mind. This is my onw Nashville banner,so maybe those in your neighborhood can help Country Music's reputation. This is just my hand to mouth opinion for those who can't stand. Sincerely in Music,Leo J.Eiffert,jr. PS: I will make these friends proud.Cliffie Stone,Eddie Dean,Leo Fender,Buck Owens,Pasty Montana,Tex Williams,Bonnie Price,Johnny Bond,Gene Autry,Roy Rogers,Ron Martin,Bill Boyd,Gene Weed and all the Night Clubs owners in Southern California who gave us Musicians work to feed and take care of our families.

Whatdo you tell Kurt? Mention Leos name, that ought to get it started. Smile If not mention mine. Of course that won't help but it will be one more person that knows my name. Sad

Just delegate your own words like you always do. I guess you don't have any common sense to know what my TOPIC is about and let alone anything about the Msuci Business you guys are suppose to pro in or trying at.You can fix something with mis-fixs. Attitude sure sets in.And you guys are for the Steel Guitar forum History. I get it now. You don't care about the History of the Steel Guitar or anything thing else that do help you. What a shame you guys always have to destroy respect for another good endeavor. Thanks for the support for Bobby Lee in my mission for him. I can do it on my own as I always do anyway. LJ, we ALL care about the steel guitar, its history, its future, the great players, and the singers who've carried tohe steel guitar to the place it now enjoys. Most of us even PLAY the thing, some better than others. No one is trying to pick on you. It might be a good idea if you gave some extra thought to your writing, spelling, punctuation, and so forth. Sometimes, you just go over our heads! After all, we're just a bunch of steel players!
