For any of you in the Cincinatti area, I'll be working the Riverfront Park 4th Celebration with Larry Gatlin. That in itself is no biggie, but we're working with the symphony and they called me yesterday and asked if I'd be willing to play the piccolo solo during The Stars and Stripes Forever. It's a fun thing they do every year to ask a different instrument to play the solo. Since I was going to be there anyhow, they asked for steel. Although I get to work with Larry with a symphony a few dozen times year, working as a soloist (even in a fun situation)will be a first for me and I'm excited.

Thanks guys....it'll be fun. By the way, I gotta say that I love this town (and this area). Lot of wonderful people and I've been very fortunate to have worked with some great players (although I do miss Jeff Dayton).
