| Super show. The High Stakes Band with Jody Sanders on steel guitar opened the show with a solid country set. The next act was awesome. Doug Boggs and The Cowboy Jazz Band with Bobby Bowman on steel guitar. This is one of the best bands working out of Texas at this time. Many thanks to Doug and the guys for coming out. They put on a great show with a new arrangement on "My Shoes Keep Walking Back To You" that was incredible. Of course, Bobby,s playing was flawless. To close the show, there was a "jam" featuring Jody Sanders, Bobby Bowman, Janet Lynn, and Cameron Parsons(watch out for this kid, he willget you). Thanks to all the musicians that came out and helped us put on the show, especially Bruce Carter(Johnny Rodriguez), Ronnie Dicaro. and Gene Brogdon. A special thanks to Doug Boggs and the Cowboy Jazz Band for their help. (Doug worked for Gene Watson on drums for a lot of years). Last but certainly not least, thanks to the steel guitar fans that came out to support the club. Our next meeting will be the 4th Sunday in July. We will keep you posted as the players confirm. Thanks for inviting me to "jam" with ya'll, Jody. I thoroughly enjoyed playing as well as hearing you, Bobby Bowman, and Janet Lynn play. I am looking forward to the next meeting.
