Sunday night NYC

I'm playing on the 24th with a band called Hem at the Mercury Lounge in NYC. Here is a blurb from the NY times:

"One of Manhattan's most promising country-rock bands, Hem explores the back roads of Americana with understated grace. Backed by pedal-steel, mandolin,

There is something special about this band that is worth checking out. This will be our last show of the summer.

BTW:
Tonight (tues) I'm playing sets with Mike Daly (whiskeytown), Amy Allison and JC Hopkins at this crappy bar in the east village called The Continental. I really love playing with each one of the bands I'm with tues night. Some truly great tunes and some of the best musicians in town.

What a great voice that Hem woman has.
