I am going to be in the Toronto Area from July 1st till 20th , and wondered if there are any steel events taking place ,or if anyone can recomend any good gigs to go to.

Don't know of any steel events as such but Al Brisco, owner/operator of Steel Guitars of Canada is having a Sunday jam session/picnic at his place which is about 1 1/2 - 2 hours drive east of Toronto. Will probably be quite a few steelers in attendence. You can contact Al at the email below or check his website for more info.

Al's picnic is a MUST SEE if you're in the area. If you need any help with transportation ask me. I pass thru the Toronto area on the way to Al's.
