Any lap steel instructors on Oahu?

I'm stymied. I just got my new Rukavina lap steel and the one person I'd found for lessons has moved to the mainland. I'll travel anywhere on the island.
Thanks

Brian,
Gimme a call; I'll be glad to work with you, see how we get along, and hook you up with other style teachers on Oahu as well.
I live out in Waialua / Haleiwa on da Nortchore.

Brian,
Hey, Josh here. It's a very interesting situation with regard to Hawaiian lap steel guitar, when a guy in the state of Hawaii can't find a teacher.
You are more likely to find lap guitar instruction--and live music-- on da Mainland these days, esp. when you read the threads here on this forum regarding the way they treat steelers at the hotels in Waikiki.
Anyway, I try to make it back to Oahu once a year, so when I come next, I'll be happy to give you a workshop type intensive lesson. Meantime, you can keep checking on my website, linked below, for lessons and more.
I'm trying to get back in April or May. But until then, good luck in your search
