Question for Reece: MSA Guitar Aging by Serial Number?

Hello Reece,
I'm currently looking at an MSA "Classic" steel (S/N 2C 2388) - would you know what month/year it was built? And, maybe the shipped configuration?

Ron.....Serial number 2C-2388 shows to be a black double 10 which left the factory with 8 pedals and 2 knee levers. Its original destination was our distributor at the time located in Chicago and named CMI. They would have sold it to a dealer. Your guitar was born on April 12th 1974. Thank you for your interest in becoming part of the MSA family.

Thanks you so much for the quick response, and for all of the great detail on the "birth" and infancy of this instrument! And, also thank you for building them so well - in fact, even today, the undercarriage is still a thing of beauty!
