After months of watching numerous folks playing their hearts out on YouTube, with the help of a couple of wonderful Forumites (couldn't have done it without them!) I'm happy to say that I too, now have a YouTube site.

Should ANY of YOU be the slightest bit curious about my playing, you can take a peak by punching in:
www.youtube.com/RayMontee

I plan to do mostly steel guitar instrumentals on the site but occasionally will feature vocalists of this area. My first contribution is of favorite tunes by JERRY BYRD, Bud Issacs, Sonny Garrish.

I surely appreciate the kind words........... THANK YOU so very much.

And Mr. Hickish..........The tune you mentioned will be coming up soon. It's in the hands of a wonderful gentleman that has been helping me get on YOU TUBE.

Most of these tunes, as you can tell, are from way back in time..........shortly after Christopher arrived with the Nina, Pinta and Santa Marie, I think it was?

Glad you're finding it to be pleasant listening. I never claimed to be good.

really great playing Ray with a nice touch. I guess I'm going to have to pay more attention to your posts in the future.
I'm editing this to say that on a second listen your playing sounded even better than the first. Ray, you are a player whose playing sounds like he is having fun playing the song.

Great stuff, Skipper. I was half expecting your kitten to grab that bar and start playing. Maybe you could put a soundtrack in the background of that clip, in the same way you've put music in the background of the still photos.
