Are you able to use a Goodrich pedal bracket with your guitar? I just rec'd a bracket from a forum member and found that it's way too high to clip on the pedal bar on my Desert Rose - the bottom of the lip (where the name is) is slightly above the top of the pedal bar. I use a Goodrich 120L low profile pedal, but that really shouldn't make a difference - it's just that the vertical height of the bracket is to high. I guess I can re-engineer it somehow, but I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. _________________ 2022 Brook Lyn, 2014 Martin 000-18, 2022 Ibanez GB-10, two homebrew Teles, Evans RE200 amp, understanding wife of 49 years. Does it fit over it at all? Most pedal bars are about the same height.
I looked at the Goodrich I have on my old 120 volume pedal and it's the same height as the Hilton pedal bar bracket that is on my Hilton volume pedal. |

No, Jack - the bottom of the lip is about 1/16" above the top of the pedal bar. From the bottom of the pedal to the top of the bracket is 3-1/4" - is yours that high? _________________ 2022 Brook Lyn, 2014 Martin 000-18, 2022 Ibanez GB-10, two homebrew Teles, Evans RE200 amp, understanding wife of 49 years. I used my Goodrich pedal bracket for my Hilton pedal.
It workd fine on my ShoBud as well as my Emmons.
I'm sure if you make an adjustment or two you can make it fit. Maybe some rubber feet on the bottom will bring it up to fit.

My Franklin pedal bar is 2" wide (high) and the distance from the floor is the 2" plus the height of the rubber foot (about an inch or a little less than an inch), so it's a little less than 3" from the floor to the top of the pedal bar.
My Goodrich bracket is about 2 3/4" tall (outside dimension) and the piece that fits over the front of the pedal bar is about 1 1/2". |

Well, I solved the problem - it was just too tall. I straightened out the top bend, rebent it an inch lower, sawed off the excess, and redrilled the holes - now it works like a champ. I actually could have cut off a little more but it's OK the way it is. _________________ 2022 Brook Lyn, 2014 Martin 000-18, 2022 Ibanez GB-10, two homebrew Teles, Evans RE200 amp, understanding wife of 49 years. One thing to consider, the material that Goodrich uses will scratch the pedal bar. I removed the factory stuff and glued a leather piece and it does not scratch. I had to do the same thing to the Hilton pedal bar bracket and I used some self adhesive strips of the soft part of velcro and it has lasted several years and no sign of wear. |

Jack Is right the material on the Hilton pedal could scratch your pedal bar.
I did not have what Jack told me he used, but I did have some self adhesive black felt that I had bought at the Walmart craft section and it did the job. |

I've got some elk hide that would probably do the trick - in fact, I had thought earlier about doing just that but the felt stuff is glued on real strong - any tips on getting it off cleanly? _________________ 2022 Brook Lyn, 2014 Martin 000-18, 2022 Ibanez GB-10, two homebrew Teles, Evans RE200 amp, understanding wife of 49 years.
