On my website I have some mp3's
of some songs I played on. I've
always used Internet Explorer.
I noticed recently that the
Wimpy Player won't work any more
so I checked a few other websites
and I have the same problem.
However, if I use Mozilla instead of
Internet Explorer the Wimpy Players
work just like they always did.
My web tech can't figure it out either
Any ideas?
Rick

I get a blank, black rectangle when I go to the "Audio" page. When I visited the Video page I found the Video 2 does not playback, claiming that I need a newer version of Flash. Video 1 plays fine. I have the latest version of Flash.
It is best to not use any proprietary media player, unless is runs on Flash, which is used by most Netizens. I don't have any Wimpy players, nor Quicktime, nor RealMedia. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum

Ok.. I found out what the deal is. Wimpy uses flash to play the songs and Flash version 10 came out and wimpy won't work with it. So if a pc has version 9 it still works internet explorer or mozilla.. doesn't matter. IF your puter has Flashversion10 it won't play. I'll work on changing all your songs over to a different player tonight after I finish up at the studio.
It should be working tomorrow.
