Sounds good Mark. Hey, what kind of music do you guys do? I've been looking for some Christian or Gospel country music and have pretty much drawn a blank. What artists do you cover? Is there anyone out there that is playing real country music with good lyrics? Thanks. |

The actual time is 4PM on Saturday that Harbor Lighthouse is playing, but there are performers the whole day that will be there. It seems like more of a variety of groups, music-wise.
About a 6 - 7 hour trip for us, Craig.
We play the style of country that was around in the 80's, similiar to what you heard when Ricky Skaggs had his group. We do mostly original gospel songs in that fashion (even a couple classic sounding numbers), plus one or two instrumentals in the set at Indiana.
There are guitar, bass, drums, piano, banjo, mandolin, dobro, fiddle, and steel in this group, along with 4 part harmonies.
The lyrics cover everything from ballad-type experiences, some to edifying one another, and some just thanking the Lord. |
