Hey guys and ladies...

I asked for Miss Leslie's free CD and listened to it this week. I have to say I was not prepared for not only a great traditional sound but for hearing the obvious incredible talent of Leslie Sloan. She does it all; writing all the songs on the album, plays a great fiddle, and has a voice all us steel players could only wish to be on the stage with. I'm sure this is no surprise to her many fans. My personal favorite on the CD is the last cut, "Love Will Find You". When real Country Music was prime this song could have gone to number one. Maybe Country Music is still alive and well. Good luck to Leslie and her band.

I listened to the CD tracks on MySpace (I live in Scotland) this is a first class outfit, you can tell they put a lot of thought into the arrangements, not just thrashing along.

If the Steel Player - Ricky Davis is not a member here, he really should be.

James.

James,

Ricky Davis is, and has been for many a year, a very gracious and willing contributor to this forum. Ricky has given to us Newbie's many a reason to press on and do our best.
