We have been having a great time, and good (real) country music. So mark your calendar and be there.

Hang in there Leroy. Anyone like us who survived those "furniture store" shows on television and radio from the past can survive anything!
But, in reality, any surgical procedure is serious stuff. I'll be thinking of you my friend, and sending a prayer for a sucessful result.
My best wishes, for the surgery and for the New Year.

I want to wish everyone at the OKC Jam, A Happy New Year and I am looking forward to the
17th of Janurary.
Ken Collins which is OKC's finest Steel Player, said he may come by depending on his picken
schedule. That guy understands and knows how to play and explain the C6 neck as well as the E9th. Man what a valuable player the club has from time to time. Thanks Ken for being such a Teaching Tool.

I guess I'll bring my remaining SESSION 500 and let you guys have a chance to own it.
If you don't snap it up this time it's gonna show up in the FOR SALE section. "Old Ugly" is the one that went to PEAVEY for a good going over in July of 07.
See ya........Joel _________________ Forget "world peace". Visualize using your turn signals. |

Just an update for you folks out there. Just received a call from Leroy's wife. She reports Leroy came through the surgery with flying colors but will be staying in the hospital overnight. They removed a little over a 1 lb growth from under a muscle but didn't injure the muscle. So that is good news. Leroy should be coming home tomorrow but lets not forget him in our prayers for a speedy recovery.
P.S. Looking forward to seeing many of you at the Jam Session tomorrow. |

Ken, thanks for the update on Leroy, I pray that he will recover soon and be able to be at the next jam.
Leroy is such a fine Christian gentleman and a joy to associate with.
My apology for not being there this time, but I am recovering from an outpatient procedure and just didn't feel up to playing yet. I guess that's to be expected when your age is closer to 80 than 70.
God bless you Ken for your efforts in making this jam opportunity available for steel players.
