Hi Guys,
I've had my steel for about a year, i've kinda worked my way round the chords and can now find at least two positions of every chord (within reason) I know a few nice sounding tunes and some licks, intos and turnarounds etc. The wall i keep hitting is i go blank as soon as i play to music, i can get by just playing along with the chords, but im never quite sure what notes or scales i should be using for backup licks etc i.e. If the progression is C C G F and i want to play a fill over the f at the end, i can find the F no problem but what do i play?? Am i just missing a few vital scales??? I've looked at getting the 'Up from the top' series tuition guides but the're a lot of money and im not entirely sure its what i need.
Cheers guys
Darren
