Ok... you've sent me a message on MySpace that I cannot reply to. You asked a question about something here on the forum, so I assume you at least browse here. Your profile is private, I can't send you a reply because you're not my "friend," and you don't allow "friend requests."
Tell me WTF I'm supposed to do now, smart guy? 
(Yes, I'm hacked. Why bother to be part of a public community if you're going to be private?)

Well Mikey, it's because of the above stuff like that that after a 3 day trial I tanked Facebook. It was frustrating but also funny in that folks I wanted to talk to wouldn't, & folks I'd just as soon leave me alone wouldn't. Then I had a short scary moment where I invited my niece who's Filipina, but dating a boy from Dubai insistent on "stopping Israel's war crimes in Gaza"... Ok, uh... lemme see, I don't think this mix is going to work. My musician friends, Christian friends, steel player friends, uh no, time to bail.
What's that Jean Shepherd song, "I'm only a phone call away"??
Anyway, I hope you got a chuckle out of this. I well know your frustration.

I tried to send a musician acquaintance of mine a message on MySpace. His security settings required that I know both his last name and e-mail address _*AND*_ solve the stupid CAPTCHA puzzle.
If I knew all that stuff I would'a just called him!
