:D Yes it is close to a new year and where did 2008 go ? We the Ohio Steel Guitar Association hope that everyone had a great 2008 and it brought all the best of everything for you . We have another jam scheduled for January 17 th 2009 . As always we will have some of the best players around Ohio to entertain you for a day . We have the building from 12:00 to 8:00 pm or later if we wish . We aren't sharing the building any more on our jam days ! So plan on staying as long as you want .As always some of us get there at 10:00 am to get things set up and we could use some help with this if you could spare some of your time ( members expected to help ). We are trying to make our jams more professional in nature with conserving our down time between players . We are going to try something new this time so please let us try and see if this works . We are going to set up '' THREE '' good amp systems that everyone will use all day long . The point of this is to make it easy and fast to get each set going . When three players are done we just move their guitars and set three more in that spot . All you have to do is plug in and have the owners of the amps set things the way you like it and boom you are on . Doesn't this sound easy ? Lets see if everyone will comply ! So lets review this --all you have to do as players is to bring your guitars only and we will have seats there . There will be a place designated for you to set up your guitars and tune up and be ready to go . '' WHEW '' this took a little work ! Please don't stay away because this is different than you thought it would be ,remember this is a trial thing to see how it works out .
Ok now for the other things at hand . We will have hot food for everyone to enjoy ,i think it's lasagna
and salad this time . We had almost a full house last time so lets see if we can top it this time . I think we had 15 steel players at the last jam and some didn't set up to play . We want everyone that plays to do so . As always you don't have to be a member to play it's open to the public . As always we play all styles of music from Gospel , Country and Jazz . The address is ==================================================================

Hi Steve / Bob . We hope to see you at the next jam . We are trying to make the jam go smoothly with less confusion and thats why the idea of three amps for everyone to use . Keep in mind that the amps will be adjusted to the sound you want ( close anyway ) . This is something that other clubs do so we need to try it and see how it works for us . As i said before we need to always try to make things better for the club and our people if we can . I also stated that we will have all the time that we need to give everyone a chance to play . We don't have to leave the building until we are ready . Best regards , G.P.

:D Hey Lonnie . We enjoy having a great time with those we care about . There isn't any better time than getting some great musicians together and playing music all day. It looks like you have figured it all out with the amps that Sonny and Leland uses . I think if Buddie or Lloyd comes to town i'm using their equipment so i can sound just like them  :P Ok lets get our feet back down on the ground now . ;-) See you soon and yes you can try my new axe and see how you like it .
