I am running Windows XP.
I have a new DVD that plays fine in my regular DVD players but not on my PC.
When I load it into the DVD RW drive it starts up Windows Media player then I get an error message that it does not have to correct decoder.
I updated WINAMP but it will not player there either.
Any ideas?

Some commercial DVD's that are copy protected will not play on a PC.

However, the K-Lite Codec pack has codec's for vitually any situation. Download and install that, restart the PC and then see if the DVD will play.
