Christmas Time Is Here!

Post by Randy Beavers »

I put one Christmas song on the last CD, "The Next Step". It wasn't a Christmas CD but I loved the melody and chord structure of "Christmas Time Is Here", and thought the song was too good to only do one time of the year. I've uploaded it to my myspace page for the next few weeks to share with you.

Merry Christmas to all and I hope you enjoy!

I have to say you are one of my favorite players each year at the Texas Jamboree. That also happens to be one of my all time favorite Christmas songs.

Sometimes at work when I'm not too busy I get on youtube and watch the Charley Brown Christmas show just to hear that song.

Wow Randy what a great piece of picking! Such a nice fat sound and every little beat is right on.
Thanks Randy

Hi Al, Zane was quite the man. It was a privilege getting to be around him and his family.

Just click on the link and wait for the player on the right of the screen to finish loading. Sometimes according to the traffic, it takes a little longer.

Hi Randy, I got it and a great recording. I always liked that tune. I knew Charles Schultze (the writer of "Peanuts")in Santa Rosa , Calif. He used that song, and others played by a great San Francisco pianist, Vince Guarneri.I used to teach guitar to two of Charlies's daughters in the 60's.

I am on ISP very slow download and takes half an hour to get one long song. Can't get Satelite here in the boondocks yet.

You sure play the H**** out that E9, looks like using you are that Dmaj7 and making it sound like C6 lots of times. You sure have an individual style , all your own. Great playing, Randy...al.:):) 8) 8) 8)
