Laptop Computer output and charger question

When I play BIAB in my PA I hear weird buzzing and it sounds like i can hear my hard drive kicking on and off. It is very loud, but when i unplug my charger it goes away. I went and got an external sound card thinking it was the headphone output.
This improved it some... but it is still obnoxious.
Any experience? its on a dell lap top
