Using XP Home Edition...

I just installed Roxio Easy CD & DVD.
Now all my JPG pic files have the Roxio logo in the icon and they open in Roxio. It's a real pain.

When I right click on the icon to open it with another program, Roxio takes over.

How can I unassociate Roxio with my JPG files??

Thanks
Joe

You can open the various Roxio applications that are bundled with the Easy CD Creator, find the one responsible for dealing with image files, and look for a preferences or settings page. Once you find the preferences you should find a tab to associate or disassociate various file types with that program. Make your selection, apply it, OK it, then restart the computer.

Another way to do this involves altering the Program Defaults settings, but let's see if Roxio itself provides an opt-out first.
