What's My Emmons LaGrande II Worth ???
Hey guys.
I bought a beautifull Emmons LaGrande II D10 in a cool marble finish from soneone on here a couple of years ago. I was playing with a band at that time and was learning steel, playing it, loving it, so I bought this great instrument. As with lots of things, life changes, kids get bigger and need cars, bands break up (you can't keep a band together) or so Del Paxton says. Soooo.. My musical life is scaling back and I don't need an S-10 Fessy and a D-10 LaGrande.
So tell me, what's my Lagrande worth. I think I shucked out around $3000 (or so) for it and a new case. I know times are hard these days (as they are here in KY) What's it really worth.
I humbly seek your guidance...
Oh by the way... It's for sale, just don't know what to ask
Regards,
Kevin

I would like to see pictures as well, and be in correct order to purchase after viewing them.

To be honest, I have found the value of something is set by what the buyers are willing to pay for an item.
When the economy get worse, values decrease.
I have seen Beautifull Stunning Mullen D-10's not even bring $2000.00 last week. Unbelievable............
Here is another example:
3 months ago I tried to but a Jackson Blackjack that was 4 months used.
I offered $1750.00 and did not get the deal.
Right now there is one that has been for sell for over a week and can't even get $1399.00. One sold for $1300 or less.
I believe it is called a buyers market.
I want to sell my $207,000.00 house but now it is only worth $178,000.00 to potential buyers, so it looks like I will sit on it until the market rebounds because I don't need to sell right now but some of us members may need to sell to make ends meet. This is very unforunate. What don't kill us just make us stronger.

Thanks Dave. The economy is really a bummer these days, don't get me started on my 401K...
I would like to get around $3000 for this one.
I gave well more than that for it, and I suppose I'll sit it out for a while if no one is interested at that price.
I will however entertain all offers, and consider all serious ones...
To fairer winds and following seas...
