Cool! The blues bounces back across the pond to influence African musicians. Dig the bar storage technique at the very end! Who needs an M&Ms tube or a Pack-A-Seat?!

As the info says ...

Blind Issaque Matusse, Shangana musician from Mozambique taught himself slide guitar after hearing a blues record many years ago. Playing in his unique style, in this song he chastises a woman, singing "Aikona in Fao-Fao" ("No, Fao-Fao, you can't do that!")

An excellent and unusual clip. Very bluesy. Thank you Andy for bringing it to my attention. The rhythm of the bass line and the vocal melody is fantastic. Viva Africa!

That was sure different! He made the guitar fit his own culture and singing.

Yeah, we've seen the spoon guys magic in previous threads. Very cool. Take a look at this to see where the bottle guy comes from: click here. The Pacific islanders do dances like this. Parallel cultural evolution 8)
