The SSSGC had a great meeting Sunday. Wonderful music and vocals. Great line-up of steels. We were excited when our guest, Leon Lauber, sat in on drums and sang RELEASE ME and AMAZING GRACE. Wonderful songs, Leon. And thanks to David Starr for singing Elvis Presley's LOVE ME. Awesome! The gals were swooning. 
Members present: Gerald Sparks, Ben Chesney, David Starr, Larry Garrett, Leroy Hittson, Donley Harrington, Norma Jean Lucas, Zelpha Ward, Lynn Carney. Virgil Pittman was AWOL, and Vance Monday had a KC gig that kept him away. Missed you, guys!
Guests: Dexter Rowe on the fiddle, Leon Lauber (of Leon Lauber and the Good Guys) sat in on drums and sang two vocals, Preston Perdue, James Dorsey, Lynn's husband, Mark.

Yes, David. It was wonderful having our dear Zelpha back. She is a true blessing for our club.
Thanks for your post. If you're ever in the area on the 2nd Sunday of the month, we'd love for you to join us at our meeting and jam.
