I have a problem I cannot figure out. If I change the instrumentation I cannot save it. For example if I go to the Bass and change from Finger Electric Bass to Acoustic String Bass it will play that way for the remainder of th esong. If I stop it and restart the song it defaults back to Finger Electric Bass. Even if I save the song it will default back.
I have tried all the instruments. With strings I want to change it to Orchestral Strings from organ and it will not save. It always defaults back.
Please tell me how to save the new configuration. I am at wits end with this. |

Ron,
Alt+F2 will take you to "File/Save with Patches and Harmony" dialog box. You can save your patches and also save any instrument channels you turn off. |

Another tip that's helpful if you're trying patches out or editing an instruments part that has been generated: if you start the song with the "+" sign it won't generate new parts. You can pause it, too, and restart with the "+" sign. (I'm not at that machine now so I can't remember exactly how to pause it).
I often rework the individual parts, then render a wave file for use in recording and practicing using the changes I made. |
