Very nice Martin.
It's nice hearing Bluegrass and Old Time music not played at 1000 mph.
Beautiful tone and technique!

Martin,
Wow, "clean as a hound's tooth" playing on a Bluegrass classic. Love the tone you are getting, too.

Martin,
I was looking on your site for the tunings and I couldn't find them...
Do you have a link?
Thanks

I think like most outstanding modern players, Martin tunes to open G the vast majority of the time.

That's my thinking too, Mark
On one of his responses on utube, he mentions other tunings and they are on his website....I just can't find them

One of my favorites to play on banjo -- I love your tone and style, Martin. It's always a pleasure to hear you play.

Thanks folks for your nice comments. I have my guitar tuned in open G tuning. GBDGBD from low to high. Sometimes when I want to get that pedal steel sound I tune to G9 GBDGAD and do string pulls mostly on the second string.
