The "Waltz You Saved For Me" was the theme song of a popular band in the 30's called "Wayne King the Waltz King". I don't know if Wayne wrote it or not. His band was similiar to Guy Lombardo. Back in the 40's in the Dance Halls and Ballrooms, Sunday night always had a Waltz contest with first prize usually being $25. This was one of the old waltzes we always played along with: Missouri Waltz, Let The Rest of The World Go By, Carolina Moon, etc.
