Baritone Guitar

Post by Keith Cordell »

Got this in a trade and, cool as it is, I don't know what I'll use it for. It's a Squier '59 body with a flamed custom made baritone neck, 3 ply tort-elvis pickguard, Earvana nut and the witchdoctor did a mojo dance to give it power over all mortal souls.

OK, strike that last.

It sounds great, the players that have checked it out have all asked to borrow it at some point, but it is as clean as a whistle.

What I need is a lap steel, guitar or effects. Analog preferred but if you have something cool feel free to run it up the flagpole. Cash? $300 + shipping, firm. I can do cash and trades too. Easier to call me as my internet has been flakey lately. 678-525-9641

I'm not sure if Robert is joking, I just got that guitar from him on a trade. It really is a killer.

Keith, how about a very old Dickerson lap steel, the green pearl (mother of toilet seat)?
Keith, I sent you a picture of the reso I just received but I see you are having email problems. It appears that FedEx managed to crack the body.

Give me a call tomorrow Jerry, I'll find out what I can do. It appears that all shippers are insane with this stuff these days. Now that DHL is gone I guess I'm just going to have to quit doing acoustic instuments, as neither shipper is willing to honor claims.

Keith, was at my Shop last week and I played this guitar, it has great tone and with bottleneck it sounds so fat its almost unbelivable. Can't beat the price for what it does.

Just to clarify, and to quote Bad Company-

She's gone, gone, gone
Don't know if I'm happy
Don't know if I'm sad
She's gone, gone, gone
Don't know if I'll cry
Don't know if I'll die...

Wish I had 10 more...
