Yours truly here will be playing steel for the musical production of Always Patsy Cline. We just finished the first week and it's going good. It runs at the 6th Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa from this coming Thursday until Dec 7. Then we get a month off and we're at the Cinnabar Theater in Petaluma from NYE until January 17. Click on the links below for details.

This is my first musical and I like it so far. It's a great lesson in playing subtle and tasteful.
Thanks for looking!

I JUST LISTENED TO HER GREATEST HITS AND THE CREDITS SAY WALTER HAYNES AND BEN KEITH PLAY STEEL BUT I SWEAR I DIDN"T HEAR ONE STEEL GUITAR .THEY ALSO SAY HAROLD BRADLEY ON ELECTRIC BASS BUT ITS OBVIOUSLY AN UPRIGHT SO I DON"T KNOW. I DID HEAR VIBES AND STRINGS, GREAT PRODUCTION .THEY RECORDED COUNTRY MUSIC DIFFERENT IN THOSE DAYS MORE ORCHESTRATION LESS BAND. WHATS THE LINE UP FOR THE SHOW DAVE .

Hi Larry. Jim Peterson on guitar, Michael Kane on fiddle, Robin Zickel on drums, Josh Fosgreen on bass (Kent's son) and Stuart Rabinowitsh on piano.
Mary, who plays Patsy has a terrible cold right now but she is pulling it off. Some friends in the audience couldn't even tell she was sick when I told them. They are working in an understudy (Shannon Ryder) for the Saturday matinee show to give Mary a rest.
Larry, I want my Brisbane Bop CD back! I miss it!
Give me a call.
Dave
Super Dave

Hi Dave.
I'll be doing the show here in Janesville WI at "The Armory" theatre staring January 14th through March 3rd.
ALWAYS is a great show. I did the show back in 2003 with the Racine Theatre Guild in Racine WI. Every performace sold out! It was a great change from the club circuit........Bill

I agree Bill, it's a great show and REALLY enjoyed doing it. I would do it again. Every show was either sold out or very close to being sold out. Most were sold out. I'm looking forward to my three weeks off. We do another few weeks in Petaluma starting on New Years Eve!

Dave, I'm bummed. We were going to catch one of the last shows in Petaluma this weekend, and they are all sold out!
The good news is that the show comes back in August. I'm assuming you will be in the steel chair again when it returns?

I'll be there Mark. They are adding 13 more show from mid August to early Sept.
