I have my C drive from my older Dell computer backed up on a Simpletech external drive via StorageSync. The file on the drive is called "StorageSync>Drive_C". I want to backup this newer computer's Drive C the same way. But I totally do not want StorageSync to go to the existing Drive_C file and overwrite it or in any way co-mingle anything. How do I get it to make a totally different file with a different name & all?

Jon,

I'm not a Windows guy... but I'd look into commands like mv and rename as possibilities to not over-write existing valuable data. Also... are you able to on MS, to create an archive to a filename on the hard drive? IOW: Do a backup of the data to something like C:> spare_copy ??
