Adobe Reader updated to plug multiple vulnerabilities

Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Adobe Reader and Acrobat, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges or by malicious people to compromise a user's system. The vulnerabilities are reported in version 8.1.2 and prior.

PDF exploits are already loose in the wild, so I strongly recommend that you upgrade to Adobe Reader version 8.1.3 or, better yet, upgrade to version 9.0.
