Does ANYONE know how Buddy is doing? I am a little worried about him because I have not heard anyone talk about him lately. Like Sunday at the Georgia Peach Jam Steel Guitar Convention, no one was talking about Buddy. Its almost like he has fallen off the face of the earth. If only I could meet him one time,,,,,,,,,,,

Buddy has suffered a terrible, tragic loss in his personal life, and I suspect he's dealing with it in his own private, and personal way. It is my opinion that we would all do well to give Buddy some time, and simply pray that the Lord heals his broken heart.
He'll always be THE icon of the pedal steel guitar, and if he never records, or even plays, another note, we should be grateful for his body of work, and respect his privacy, as we would like to be respected during such times.

From someone that has been through the same thing, you never "get over it" but you will "get through it". Get outta the house and get going.
Prayers be with Buddy.

I still find myself thinking of Buddy as though he were a personal friend.

Stephen has said all that needs saying.

Just in case you might have missed it, here's a forum link regarding Buddy. There's even a picture of Ernie Renn and Buddy taken in September. Buddy looks great in the picture.
